Sales CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software has become a crucial tool for businesses across multiple industries to increase their sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Without the proper CRM tools, businesses face a much more difficult task of managing customer data, online communications, and sales interactions.
But with so many different CRMs on the market, it can be tough for entrepreneurs and small business owners to know which one is best for their needs.
That’s where I come in! My name is AJ! Throughout my career, I’ve owned and sold my own digital agency and have experience contacting and managing multiple clients simultaneously.
So I know the ins and outs of building strong relationships with customers, but I also understand the struggles that come with owning and operating a business. It is now my goal to help sales teams and managers get the right CRM software for their sales process.
That brings me to this review! The Small Business Bonfire Team (SBB) and I have put Monday Sales CRM through rigorous testing to determine if it is the right tool for your business!
Let’s get into the nitty-gritty!
You Can Trust Small Business Bonfire
Since 2009 Small Business Bonfire has been testing and rating thousands of business software to help you (our small business owners) start & scale your organizations. If you want to know more about how we test, please read this article here.

In short, Monday Sales CRM is an all-in-one platform that empowers businesses to close more deals and build stronger customer connections.

Is Monday a CRM?
Monday is a project management tool that is also optimized for customer relationship management.
It can help any dedicated customer success manager with storing contacts and accounts, tracking leads and deals, and monitoring sales operations.
What’s more, this CRM provides in-depth reports and sales analytics, giving you valuable insights into the behavior of your customers.
So, whether you’re a solo entrepreneur or part of a bigger sales team, Monday Sales CRM could be a really useful tool to help you stay organized and efficient.
Can Monday Sales CRM Also Do Project Management?
As recently stated, Monday Sales CRM is not just restricted to sales management, it has an extensive set of features for managing projects as well!
Throughout our research, the SBB found that this CRM software could potentially double as a project management platform.
This gave us the ability to take advantage of all the features both tools have to offer such as task management, tracking project progress, and monitoring client projects at every stage.
Overall, if you’re looking for a CRM that can also support robust project management capabilities, this product is definitely worth considering!

Who Is Monday Sales CRM Best Suited For?
If you’re in the market for a CRM system, then Monday Sales CRM could be the perfect fit for you!
This CRM software is best suited for small businesses and large enterprises that want to boost business growth. With its user-friendly interface and customizable features, it’s easy to use and can help streamline daily operations.
Our team at SBB was able to effectively utilize Monday Sales CRM to track our customer interactions and pipeline while helping them close more deals.
We were also able to integrate many of our favorite applications with this product, which improved our workflow and increased productivity across multiple platforms.
Whether you’re a startup or an established business, if you’re looking for a CRM that’s affordable, efficient, and tailored to your needs, Monday Sales CRM should definitely be on your radar!
Who Is Monday Sales CRM Not Suited For?
While Monday Sales CRM is an incredibly versatile and useful tool for businesses of all shapes and sizes, it’s not the right choice for everyone.
For example, if you’re a solo entrepreneur or freelancer who doesn’t have a lot of contacts to manage, you might find that this CRM software offers more features than you need.
Moreover, while the platform offers a lot of customizability, users who need more advanced features will have to scale up their plans in order to gain access to them, which might be an issue for larger businesses on a tight budget.
Overall, it’s important to consider your team’s needs and the features offered by this product to determine if it’s the right fit for your business.
Monday Sales CRM Pricing: How Much Does It Cost?
Monday Sales CRM provides competitive pricing plans for its CRM features that are either billed annually or monthly depending on your budget.
It offers users four paid plans to choose from:
- Basic Plan: $10 per user a month
- Standard Plan: $14 per user a month
- Pro Plan: $24 per user a month
- Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing
One of the coolest things about this Monday CRM software is that it also offers a 14-day free trial, so you can test it out before committing to anything.
However, if your business only needs the most basic CRM capabilities, it is important to keep in mind that this platform is available with Monday’s free forever plan.
At SBB, we chose to sign up for Monday’s annual Pro Plan at $16 a month for three users, giving us access to this and other products provided by the platform.
How Does Monday Sales CRM Pricing Compare?
When it comes to pricing, Monday Sales CRM is one of the more affordable options on the market.
Take, for instance, PipeDrive. This CRM software’s pricing billed annually begins at $14.90 per user each month for the Essential plan and can go up to $99 per user every month for its Enterprise plan.
While this platform also offers a 14-day free trial of its services, it doesn’t provide a free plan to users as Monday CRM does.
This makes Monday Sale CRM’s pricing more flexible and customer-friendly than PipeDrive and other CRM alternatives, making it an ideal option for businesses looking for a cost-effective and scalable solution for any business.
How Does Monday Sales CRM Pricing Compare?
During our testing period, we noticed a few tips that can help you make the most of your investment.
Let’s discuss the different ways you can save!
Monday Sales CRM Features
This product is a powerful tool for any sales team. The platform offers a range of features to enhance your sales processes.
It also helps you track the progress of the deals your business makes in real time, which could lead to higher client retention and satisfaction.
Plus, the tool easily integrates with third-party apps like Zapier, Slack, Dropbox, Microsoft Teams, and more, making it easy to automate your sales tasks and keep your team in the loop.
Furthermore, each feature provided by this CRM is entirely customizable, which makes it simple to add a personal touch to your workflow.
One of the key features our team thoroughly enjoyed was the ability to visualize and manage our sales pipeline with ease.
Let’s go over some of the main features of this CRM!
First off, Monday Sales CRM provides excellent lead capturing and management features.
This is perfect for sales teams who need to monitor customer interactions on a constant basis.
We used the Lead Management board to manage the leads we were currently working on, as well as the new leads we had just acquired.
It was easy for us to see who each lead was, the company they worked for, and their job title, along with which of our team members were in charge of each lead and the contact status.
This board also provides a contact form that you can customize and share on your business website or favorite social media platform, which can help increase the number of leads you receive.
So whether you're a solopreneur or a large team, Monday Sales CRM's lead capturing and management capabilities will help you stay organized, streamline your sales process, and ultimately drive more revenue for your business.
With the Deal Tracker template, you'll never miss another deadline or forget an important detail again!
This board allows you to easily track all of your deals every step of the way and monitor their progress actively. And if you're working on deals with a team, the collaboration tools make it seamless to keep everyone informed.
For us, we were able to see each of our deals, who they were commissioned by, the specific account it was for, the value and priority of each one, and what needed to happen next in order for us to close them.
It also helped us organize all the deals we won and lost and oversee the deals that were currently active, so all of our team members were on the same page.
Plus, you can attach any relevant documents like proposals and contracts to each deal, making it easy to refer back to them as the deal progresses.
Additionally, the board provides different ways in which you can view your deal information, including a Kanban board and sales forecast (above) for teams who prefer a more visual representation.
In our opinion, the deal management feature is a complete game-changer for sales teams who want to stay organized and productive.
The sales pipeline management tool is another great and simple way to visualize and track every deal your team is working on, from first contact to closed-won, with the Sales Dashboard.
You can customize your dashboard to match the needs of your business and sales process by adding as many views as you need with the Widgets Center.
You can easily add, change, or remove widgets to ensure your sales pipeline aligns and reflects with your sales goals.
This made it easy for our team to identify trends in our pipeline, see where each deal stood, and the total revenue we received for each one.
It also provides teams with insightful analytics, so you can identify areas that need improvement and optimize your sales strategy.
All in all, the Sales Dashboard is a powerful tool that can help improve your sales process and drive revenue growth.
The onboarding process is a critical aspect of any successful business. It is essentially the first stage of your customer's journey once they have signed up to use your services or products.
With the Customer Onboarding template, you can automate onboarding processes and manage your customer lifecycle with ease.
In our experience, we were able to quickly add new leads and start creating tailored onboarding processes for them.
It was also easy to organize the stage of the onboarding process each of our customers was currently in, which helped our team prioritize the clients that needed our attention first.
We highly recommend this board for businesses that are dedicated to providing a seamless customer experience.
If you're looking to manage contacts and the accounts they are associated with, then these two tools will make it super simple to keep track of all your customer data in one centralized location.
For starters, you can easily arrange each contact's name, their job title, and the company and deals they are connected with based on priority with the Contacts board.
This platform is designed to help you keep track of all your client interactions, making it easier to build strong relationships with your customers.
Plus, you can add as much information to each contact as you'd like. From basic info like their phone number and email address to notes about their preferences or previous interactions with your team.
Similarly, the Accounts board allows you to track all of the companies that correlate with each contact and the industry they are in.
Both of these templates are a must-have for businesses and enterprises that manage multiple contacts and accounts daily.
Additionally, post-sales management is another way to keep track of where all of your deals stand at the end stage.
The Post-Sales Project board helps you with managing projects connected to your deals before they are closed.
In our case, the SBB team was able to see the overall progress of each project our clients required us to complete according to the deal we with struck with them.
If a project was falling behind, team members could collaborate easily together to expedite project progress for delivery. Once a project was completed, we could then contact that client and send them the final result.
So if you're a small business that wants to streamline your post-sales process, then this template is definitely worth considering.
Last but not least, the Sales Process board is designed to help teams stay organized, efficient, and successful throughout the sales operations process.
This template was able to help us gain further insights into our leads.
We were able to easily see what stage their deal was in, when they were last contacted, the size of their deal, and the deal's close probability.
It also includes a world clock, so you can see what time it currently is for your lead to help you determine the best time to contact them.
Overall, this board is a fantastic choice for any team looking to enhance their sales operations and take their business to the next level!
What are the Limitations of Monday Sales CRM Software?
As much as we loved using Monday Sales CRM, there were a few limitations that we came across throughout our research.
For instance, Monday’s free version of this product doesn’t include all the features that come with its paid plans like unlimited boards, lead scoring, sales analytics and forecasting, account management, and synchronization with Google Calendar.
This means that users who need access to these advanced features for the overall success of their business will have to scale up their plans, which could be difficult and frustrating for those on a tight budget.
We recommend signing up for the free trial first before deciding whether or not it is worth paying for.
What Sets Monday Sales CRM Apart from the Competition?
Monday Sales CRM has several unique qualities that set it apart from its competitors.
As we mentioned before, it is more affordable and offers better versatility and scalability for both small and large businesses compared to PipeDrive.
Additionally, it offers a free plan for users who only need the most basic CRM features, as opposed to PipeDrive that only provides a short 14-day free trial of its services to users.
Moreover, this platform is very intuitive and easy to use, providing customization options and drag-and-drop capabilities that make it simple to personalize your workspace based on your needs.
All of these aspects and more make this product an ideal choice for businesses looking for an all-encompassing and budget-friendly CRM platform to manage their sales.
Getting Started with Monday Sales CRM
If you’re ready to use this CRM software, getting started is super easy!
All you have to do is sign up for their 14-day free trial with your Google account or email address!
Once you do that, its onboarding process takes a few moments to complete, so the platform can help personalize your account to fit your requirements.
After you create a password and input your name, it will ask you about your job and the reason you are looking to use the service.
At SBB, we said we were using it specifically for work and that I was the business owner.
Next, it will ask you about your team and company size, as well as what you would like to focus on the most while using this product.
In this case, we chose lead management.
Then it will prompt you to pick the areas you would like this platform to assist you with before you can invite your team to your new account!
The last step is naming your first board and then you will be ready to get started with managing your sales!
Furthermore, if you find that you need a little help learning how to use your new board, it provides a “Getting Started” tab that includes articles and training videos to walk you through any learning curve.
Is Monday Sales CRM Easy To Learn & Use?
In our experience, this product is one of the easiest CRM providers to learn and use. The interface is clean and organized, so it’s easy to navigate even if you’re not a tech expert.
It helps sales managers and teams with the following:
- Closing deals
- Tracking deal progress
- Monitoring sales pipelines
- Building customer relationships
- Managing contacts and accounts
What’s more, its collaborative features and live data analytics enable sales managers and teams to stay organized and on top of their game.
At the end of the day, we highly recommend Monday Sales CRM to anyone seeking a user-friendly and adaptable sales CRM.
Monday Sales CRM Customer Service & Support Review
Monday Sales CRM’s prioritized customer support is available to help you with any questions or issues that you come across.
Its sales reps can be contacted via email, live chat, or phone. However, it is important to keep in mind that the live chat feature is only accessible Monday-Friday between 2 AM and 6 PM, while the phone option is reserved for billing issues only.
When we ran into a problem, we chose to contact them by email, which created a ticket with a quoted wait time of up to 10 hours.
Although, it could potentially take longer for someone to respond if they are experiencing a high volume of requests.
With that said, the platform also provides a detailed knowledge base with tutorial videos and articles for users to parse through if they need faster results.
Even though the platform’s customer service was slow to respond and could be improved, we were thoroughly impressed with the detailed knowledge base, which helped us resolve our problems quickly.
