Packaging usually refers to the process of designing, evaluating and producing products in a way that might be appealing to the customers. It is also a huge part of any product. Whether it’s the latest Apple product or some household cleaning items, packaging ultimately serves two very important jobs. The first is to effectively market the product that is being sold, while the second job is to contain the product inside.
Almost all consumers make their buying decisions based on a number of things, packaging being one of them. People subconsciously base their expectation of a product on the appearance of the packaging it is supplied in, so getting the packaging perfect is a must! Packaging design has played a huge role in consumers’ decisions for years and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop any time soon.
