Street Walking: The Grand Opening

Regular readers of my street walking marketing series know that I am a big fan of brick and mortar businesses using sidewalk signs to lure customers into their place of business.

As the sign below demonstrates, even big businesses like Duane Reade in New York City understand how effective sidewalk signs are as a marketing medium.

The chain has remodeled a bunch of their stores and held Grand Openings to celebrate. Their sign is packed with information and stands about 5-feet tall to help it stand out on the crowded sidewalks of New York City.

What are you doing to help your business stand out from the crowd?
